Scottish Islands Explorer

During February and March, the future of Scottish Islands Explorer magazine was in jeopardy following the sudden and unexpected death of its Editor, Jeremy Smith, aged only 35. A new company, Ravenspoint Press Ltd, has been established to continue to publish the existing title. The new Editor is a regular contributor to the magazine, John Humphries, who has also edited the newsletter of the Gatliff Hebridean Hostels Trust, Hebridean Hostellers, since 2002.  The May / June 2010 issue of Scottish Islands Explorer is on sale and details are to be found at www.scottishislandsexplorer.com
